It's true. I am a lazy liquid soap squirter. I do not purchase bars of hand soap. I think that may have just changed.
YesterYear soaps are hand crafted with all natural ingredients. They recently sent me a sample gift package, including a slab of three of their most popular fragrances: Vanilla Honey (my daughter's favorite), Green Tea Mint (my favorite), and Orange Patchouli. (The boys didn't vote. Party Poopers.)
- Even the feel of using a soap like this is different. Instantly suds up, yet feels creamy, soothing, and glides over your skin. And after you are done - they leave your hands with such a fresh scent! Subtle, but just clean smelling ... it's great. Two hours later, I could still detect this clean fragrance on my hands!
- The ingredient list. All natural, the ingredients read: olive oil, coconut oil, soybean oil, organic shea butter, and water. The list of people I know with sensitivities to chemicals seems to grow every day. These soaps are made without added chemicals, preservatives or synthetic fragrances - scented with pure essential oils from plant extracts and colored with organic herbs.
- And last, I love that these are made by hand, and that YesterYear Soaps are preserving the craft of artisan soap making. You don't find that much anymore, and that alone is worthy of supporting!
What a lovely touch to leave a hand crafted bar of soap for your guests. This looks so much nicer than the liquid soap container I previously had in my guest bathroom.
This pretty mocha colored bar is the Vanilla Honey. |

Nice giveaway. Thanks. I just love hand-made soaps. Neither of the two scents you mentioned were listed on the website or I would probably have picked them. Of the ones listed I couldn't decide on a favourite between the Summer Citrus, Sunrise and Rose Vanilla.
